Established in 1997, by Andy Price, the International Lineman's Museum is located at 529 Caleb Road in Shelby, North Carolina and was created to preserve the history of linemen and the electrical utility industry. What began as a small dream to collect and display an historical lineman collection has grown into an anthology of several thousand items with artifacts dating as far back as the 1880's.

The International Lineman's Museum Is a 501C3 Non-Profit Organization. Museum rent, utilities and supplies are made through private donations from companies and individuals - most museum artifacts are donated as well. The museum is free and is open to the public Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm or by appointment.

2006 will be the International Lineman's Museums first year to establish the Lineman's Hall of Fame. The Lineman's Hall of Fame will pay tribute to those Linemen who continually exceed in the call of duty and exemplify those qualities that establish the true nature of the Brotherhood of Electrical Linemen. If you would like to nominate a Lineman for admission to the Hall of Fame please submit no less than a one page essay with photo explaining how this person has gone above and beyond the Lineman call of duty. Hall of Fame winners will be announced at the International Lineman's Rodeo in Overland Park, Kansas during the month of October 2006. Winners will be prominently displayed at the International Lineman's Museum.
