Lineman’s Concert 6 pm to 10 pm Chick Herrin, “The Singing Lineman” will take the famous and weather-protected Threadgill Stage with his hot country band for a special Lineman’s Concert, including some special songs about the Lineman. Joining Chick will be our 2009 featured  artist, the Paula Nelson Band. Yes, she's Willie Nelson's daughter, she's gorgeous and she’s an incredibly talented singer/songwriter. Get ready for a real treat folks! Paula and Chick will collaborate to bring us four big hours of great music and fun. Also joining in on the evening fun will be the 2008 Texas Lineman’s Rodeo favorite, Jack Houston.

Afternoon Music & BBQ Cook-Off From 12:00 Noon through 6:00 pm our afternoon musical lineup will include concerts by the popular Texas artists like Tim Fralik, the awesome band Honeybrowne, plus the great sounds of the Kyle Bennet Band. At 3:00 pm our BBQ judges will begin sampling the briskets repared by our BBQ teams in search of the “Best Texas Brisket”. Then between 4:00 and 6:00 pm WE ALL get to enjoy FREE samples of the delicious BBQ until it is all gone. The results of the BBQ Cook-Off will be announced and awards presented during the big Lineman's Concert.
